Earlier this month you received an email from me about Budget in a Box 2.0, an activity designed for participants to facilitate their own small-group discussions about the City of Austin’s services, performance, and budget. There is still time to participate! You can participate individually or with others from your neighborhood or community groups in various ways, including attending any of our community events.
The Financial Services Department will host one more guided Budget in a Box events in District 7 in the coming weeks:
North Village Library

In addition, the Gracywoods Neighborhood Association will also host a guided Budget in a Box event during its regular neighborhood association meeting June 2. All District 7 residents are welcome to participate in this event. The general meeting will begin at7pm, and we will play Budget in a Box from 7:30-9pm.
Brentwood Church of Christ - Chapel (main building)
11908 N. Lamar Blvd.
We are excited to partner with Gracywoods Neighborhood Association and any other Neighborhood Association or group in the coming weeks.
